A large retailer wanted to make its supply chain more sustainable and asked us to help reduce carbon emissions on a specific transport route. The challenge? The client wanted to achieve a significant reduction, but without compromising on delivery time and reliability.
After an extensive analysis of their transport flows and fuel alternatives, we chose to use biodiesel trucks instead of standard Euro 6 diesel trucks. Biodiesel, produced from renewable resources, offers a more sustainable alternative without major infrastructure changes.
This switch allowed the client not only to meet its climate goals, but also to strengthen its sustainable image.
